The Process

Assess

After executing a mutual non-disclosure agreement (NDA) ensuring total confidentiality, Pentas reviews your institution's existing data processing environment and analyzes vendor agreements, product and service offerings, and pricing.

Survey

Upon reviewing your institution's existing data processing agreements and invoices, the Pentas team will validate the information with you and your key staff members to assure accuracy. Our goal is to fully understand your existing environment, your current cost structure, and determine your wants, needs, and service levels with your existing service provider.

Recommend

Once your information has been analyzed and evaluated, Pentas will provide an executive summary and report its findings to you and your key staff members. At this time, a current cost baseline will be established that contains your current recurring cost structures, as well as targeted savings that can be attained with the proper restructuring of existing agreements. Once a course of action has been determines, Pentas will provide you with an engagement agreement for your approval.

To this point there has been … no commitment, no payment and no risk… to you.

Restructure

During this step in the process, if you feel the results of our analysis were material to you, and you have decided to engage Pentas, a clear and concise plan, known as a Client Playbook©, will be presented to you for your approval, prior to any vendor contact. The strategies that deal with contract terms, product and service offerings, and pricing will all be contained in the client playbook as the restructure process takes shape.

Implement

After your new contract(s) are finalized and your desired results have been achieved, Pentas will work with your institution to validate them for accuracy, in an effort to help pave the way for a successful transition. Bank management may then consider if there are any other areas within the institution that would warrant a closer look. The Pentas Group would welcome the opportunity to find other areas within your institution that result in a similar positive outcome.
